Zach Randolph should be a Memphis Grizzly soon

Ouch.....

According to ESPN.com, Knicks president Donnie Walsh has been trying to move power forward Zach Randolph, who was traded from Portland to New York on Draft Night 2007, to the Memphis Grizzlies. He hasn't been given a deadline to make the decision to move him.

The Knicks offered Randolph for center Darko Milicic, who was the 2nd pick in the 2003 draft {over guys like D-Wade, Melo, Bosh, Hinrich, etc.}, and Marko Jaric, who was recently traded from Minnesota with #3 pick O.J. Mayo. Weird thing is, the trade was proposed almost 2 weeks ago. The Grizzlies have already accepted it, and they aren't going to back out, eithe! r. But Walsh still has to sign the deal, which is why Randolph isn't a Grizzly yet.

Darko is probably going to make around $14.5 M over the next 2 years, and Jaric is going to earn about $21.3 M over the next 3 seasons.

The Knicks also really want to move him to clear up cap space, because he is owed around $48 Million over the next three years. They are planning to get rid of him and then clear up cap space so they can sign an all-star like LeBron James in 2010.

I think the Grizzlies are happy to grab this guy, he is a pretty good basketball player. Back in Portland he was the face of their club. He wasn't liked much as a Knick, though. {Well, I don't think any of the Knicks fans like anyone on their team.}

The Grizzlies just signed Iranian star Hamed Haddadi, who will team up with Randolph to make a much better frontcourt.

Haddadi, Randolph, Rudy Gay, Mayo, and Mike Conley. That's a pretty good lineup. They should get! at least 38 wins this year.

The Knicks, however, h! ave a mi xed up lineup that they change like every game. None of the players even try though, except for Jamal Crawford and Nate Robinson. Every other player thinks the team is a joke.

Well, actually I think they do, too.
