Vodacom Western Province have three tough games to contend with when the Currie Cup kicks off.
They play the Sharks at the Sharktank in the opening round followed by the Blue Bulls and the Free State Cheetahs at Newlands on consecutive weekends. They also play a compulsory friendly against the Border Bulldogs at East London's ABSA stadium on Saturday.
Coach Allister Coetzee is likely to rely heavily on most of the players who did duty in this year's Vodacom Cup after 12 Stormers were called up to the Springbok training camp. Coetzee will however still have the likes of Ross Skeate, Francois Louw and Dylan des Fo! untain to add some experience to the side.
WP's match against the Sharks takes place on the 20th of June and kicks off at 19:10.
